The construction of the new winery began in April 2009 and the first elaboration was done in March/April 2010. The winery's tourist sector was completed and opened to the public on April 16, 2011.
About us
MEVI is an agro-industrial venture founded by two business friends: Oscar Vignart and Rolando Meninato in 1991 to produce high quality grapes and wines. It was decided to buy a farm at the foot of the Andes in San Martin.
Tourism
The winery has a space specially dedicated to the reception of tourists or visitors. You can find two terraces with impressive views of the vineyard and the mountains and a reception and tasting room, an air-conditioned room with capacity for fifty people.
Awards
We were recognized two years in a row as the best winery in Argentina by the New York International Wine Competition.
Since the beginning we look to express our passion for the wine, distinguishing ourselves by high quality wines and continuous innovation. To achieve this, we consistently devote ourselves to hard work and effort during all the stages of the winemaking process.
In MEVI, we always aim to improve ourselves and outperform year after year. We follow-up closely our grapes from the plant to te winery, in order to assure excellent quality wines.
